SB 866 will be heard in the Assembly Judiciary Committee on Wednesday June 1st. This is the only committee before going to the Assembly floor, then Governor’s desk. They are trying to fast track this bill. We must stop this now. Judiciary committee has 7 democrat legislators that we need to persuade to vote NO or ABSTAIN.

  • Call ASSEMBLY JUDICIARY COMMITTEE MEMBERS at their district offices all day Friday and throughout the weekend.

  • Tell them to vote NO or ABSTAIN on SB 866

  • You can leave a message after hours, so you don’t have to leave zip code.

  • Submit your letter of opposition to legislative portal by noon and email directly.

  • Tell everyone you know to do the same as well as organizations or unions.

Monday, May 30th

  • It is a holiday, but you still call to leave a message at district and capitol offices.

    • Give them the districts zip code when asked.

    • Tell them to vote NO or ABSTAIN on these bills.

  • When calling, state your name and the district’s zip code. You can even call after hours to leave a message, if you are not in district so your calls will not be “trashed”.

  • Fridays call district offices (as the legislators are in their home offices.
