Involuntary Veterans

A COMMUNITY OF VETERANS FORCIBLY DISCHARGED DUE TO THE

COVID-19 mandate which has now been rescinded. These veterans are still living under the punishment for their religious/personal convictions and we are here to change that.

M I S S I O N S T A T E M E N T

We exist to support Involuntary Veterans by raising awareness, educating on and effecting legislation, and providing a support group with the resources to act. We are just like you, and we have the sincere conviction that defending the Constitution is the greatest service we can provide. We want to give these veterans an opportunity to continue their lives and receive the benefits they were promised.

It started with one veteran, Briana Cespedes, and at least 8,500 more active duty members and more than 85,000 Reserves and Guard being forcibly discharged and punished for their convictions. When the COVID-19 mandate first came out, there was no FDA-approved vaccine option. Legally, the SecDef could not force members to take this newly created vaccine that wasn’t approved yet. For Briana, after she submitted her religious exemption request, she experienced isolation, threats, non-recommendation of promotion, and ultimately, a less than honorable discharge status which now prevents her from going to law school as she’s always dreamed. She now has joined efforts with many more who are looking for full restitution and correction of the wrongs done. You can find more of her story on Linktree.

1. Legislation

One of our main objectives is to make sure that this doesn’t happen again to our military so we educate and effect bills. We are pushing members of Congress to support the AMERICANS ACT as an amendment to the NDAA 2024.

2. Community

One of the tactics during the pandemic was isolating and making us believe we were alone in our convictions. We are here to tell you that is not the case! And, to reassure you of your honorable service.

3. Raising Awareness

Raising awareness is key to effecting change. People need to know your story and how the DOD treated the 1% who chose to lay down their lives for others. We provide a platform for others to speak.
