PERK and Local Fire Stations Partner Up To Help Nearly 170 Fire Victim Families
Dear PERK Members,
PERK and local fire stations partner up to help nearly 170 fire victim families with donated mattresses from local furniture company. Instead of a PERK event this quarter, we are dedicating a day of service for the fire victims in our community on Sunday, March 23rd .
We stand united to give back to our community and the families in need. Together, we’ve identified fire victims, including first responder families who tragically fought the recent California fires, while also losing their own homes. For all the families impacted by the fires, our heart goes out to you. The furniture company is generously providing mattresses to nearly 170 families impacted by the California fires.
Here’s what we need from our PERK community. We are preparing 170 care packages for each family to go along with the mattresses. In a recent survey, we’ve discovered that almost 75% of these families still need other support: kitchen items, home items, toys, clothes, food, and more. Volunteers and Gift Cards Needed.

Letters to Fire Victim Families
Give the gift of encouragement: Please share a message of love, letter of encouragement, thoughts,
and prayers with these families who are victims of the recent California fires. Please provide a
message on this form below. We will print off your messages to include in the care packages.
We need volunteers for the day of service on March 23 rd starting at 9am. Tasks will include check in
tables, helping families load their mattresses, giving the care package to each family, set up and clean
up. Keep in mind, because the mattresses are heavy, we need muscles and dollies! Please sign up
