We have put together a wish list of our goals moving forward. Here are our top 4 priorities:
Legislation
Work with key legislators to introduce legislation that will protect our children’s right to an education. This is a 2020 goal and once we have more finalized information, we will announce it to our members.
Member Mentoring
We will continue to work with PERK members one-on-one as well as through upcoming mixers to empower them to get out there and take action. Whether it’s meeting with candidates/legislators or lobbying at the capital, PERK will continue to get you prepared through our mentoring and support materials.
Education Coalition
Educate schools about the bill—this includes school boards and school districts. We also plan on providing some support and resources on homeschooling options.
