San Diego First Responders and PERK celebrate an important victory against city mandates!

PERK hosted a victorious celebration April 28 to recognize a historic win against the mandates in San Diego, CA!

Hundreds of guests gathered together to hear from Amy Bohn from PERK, Captain Manuel Del Toro, Adam Devor and Jonathan Wiese from the San Diego Police Department as well as Captain Justus Norgord, Paul Loetz and Corey Beckwith from the San Diego Fire Department and our PERK Attorney John Howard.

Awards were given to these brave, courageous, selfless, heroes who put themselves in harm’s way to protect us all while they were faced with losing their jobs and lifelong careers, because of looming covid vaccine mandates. A special award was given to Amy Reichert, co-founder of ReOpen San Diego for her unwavering efforts to protect San Diegans constitutional rights.

The evening was memorable and emotional as we heard from those who refused to back down. Those who put their lives on the line for us time and time again. Together we laughed and cried.

A special thank you to the Police Officers Association President Jared Wilson and to Adam Devor for your support in helping us organize this event and to our PERK leaders and volunteers who worked tirelessly to put on such a lovely evening.

If you were unable to attend and would like to show your support for these brave men and women, please consider making a donation to PERK to support these efforts at https://www.perk-group.com/give .
