FRIDAY May 13th - May 19th

Friday May 13th

  • AB 2098 is eligible to heard on Monday, May 16th. Don’t wait . Call your Assembly member (Assembly Roster) at their district offices now. Tell them to vote No or ABSTAIN on AB 2098. (Eligible to be heard on Monday, May 16th. They may sneak a vote in on Monday morning.)

When contacting legislators:

  • Call (D) Senators or Assembly members on roster list.

    • Give them the districts zip code when asked.

    • Tell them to vote NO or ABSTAIN.

  • Make an appointment to discuss your concerns.

  • When calling, state your name and the district’s Zip code. You can even call after hours to leave a message.

  • Fridays call district offices (as the legislators are in their home offices).

  • You can email (R) legislators to thank them for opposing these bills.



May 16th - 19th

  • Call your Assemblymember (Assembly Roster) at their Capitol offices. Tell them to vote No or ABSTAIN on AB 2098.

  • Call your Senator (Senate Roster) at their Capitol offices. Tell them to vote NO or ABSTAIN on SB 1184

  • Call Senate Appropriations Committee members capitol and district offices. Tell them to vote to not move SB 1479 and SB 1419 out of suspense file. The fiscal impact is not justified.

  • Call Assembly Appropriations Committee members capitol and district offices. Tell them to vote to not move AB 1797 out of suspense file. The fiscal impact is not justified.

  • Call Assembly Rules Committee to demand SB 866 be put on ice or double referred to Asm. Health Committee and Asm. Judiciary Committee.

Assembly Appropriations Committee suspense file hearing: 05/19/22

Take Action: Call and email Assembly Appropriations Committee members to vote NO don’t move it out of suspense file. ”kill the bill in suspense file”.


SB 1184 - Confidentiality of Medical Information Act: school-linked services coordinators

Senate Floor for vote: Item #54m on Daily Agenda. May be heard next week.

Take Action: Call and Meet with your local State Senator NOW to voice your opposition. Have everyone you know do the same. Especially on Fridays, when they are in their district office.
