PERK meets ‘Presidential Exposure’ in Maralago
Dear PERK Members,
The amazing adventure and excitement for all that’s happening for PERK since the beginning of this year is a game changer. Immediately following the new year, through the generosity of donors, I was able to speak at Maralago at an exclusive premiere related to lawfare. In the audience while I spoke were people deeply impacted by lawfare including Mayor Rudy Giuliani, John Eastman, General Michael Flynn, Peter Navarro, and Alan Dershowitz. I was invited to speak about PERK, the legal work we do, and the nature of corrupt courts who aren’t upholding the constitution.
My message centered on what we experienced and saw in California including the targeting of political dissenters, whose supposed crime was going against the government narrative or in our case defending parental rights. I shared that the courts have been weaponized. With our lawsuits, we’ve seem judges fail to rule based on the actual law. Instead, they are fearful of the consequences to issue accurate legal rulings. Their fear is based on external optics and social pressure, while sometimes ruling with their bias which weaponizes their position in the courts. While some have gotten it right, other judges rulings have been riddled with errors. The reality is many judges are cowards.
Over the course of 2 days, I quickly realized, Maralago has become the epicenter for everything. Some of the most influential people you know visit Maralago daily to meet with the new president. While there, we met the future first lady of Brazil and had the opportunity to share the mission of PERK with so many new people.
The “presidential” exposure and increase in notoriety, credibility, and respect was tangible. It was an opportunity to reach a new, receptive, audience who loved hearing about PERK’s mission, accomplishments, and quickly realized our importance to the country. Our message is clear to all, do not give up on CA or any state. Fight back with us. PERK is a leader creating change and impact where it seems impossible. It was a packed two days of meeting with supporters for PERK.
Only 15 minutes after I shared my message from the stage, everyone in the room stood up as the President of the United States walked in. Everyone joined in singing God Bless the USA. The President then joined us for the entire premiere!
I would like to share that since RFK Jr. ran for president, I’ve been an unwavering Bobby Kennedy supporter. Regardless of anyone’s political ideology, being in the room only a few feet away from the President of the United States was inspiring. There is a tangible and very real symbol the president represents for freedom. As the President of PERK, to represent in this moment and speak in the beautiful
ballroom at Maralago was not only memorable but a symbol of where PERK is headed. It shows our credibility, our reputation, our notoriety, and that our work is reaching far and wide. We’ve established strong leadership in California and are now becoming recognized as a national leader for parental rights. Here’s a small taste of what it was like to be there!
