PERK Launches Together We Are Stronger Fall fundraising campaign!

TOGETHER WE ARE STRONGER FALL CAMPAIGN

PERK is thrilled to announce the launch of our first fundraising campaign, appropriately titled- Together We Are Stronger- as we would not be winning in California without all of you! 

The year of 2022 has indeed been an epic battle and we need your help to continue to hold the line to protect our children. Our campaign goal is $500,000 to support legal efforts, continue efforts to defeat bad bills, and protect your right to refuse. We anticipate the legal fees will continue to increase as our legal teams aggressively fight for your freedoms in the courts.  Our lawsuits are focused on protecting children, parental rights, first responders, employees, and the people of California.

CDPH rescinds COVID testing requirements for School and Healthcare workers.

Effective September 17, 2022

Updates as of September 13, 2022:

Requirement for School Workers and Testing for Healthcare Workers!

• Rescinds testing requirement (except as specifically noted to comply with federal requirements) for workers exempt due to medical reasons or religious beliefs.

• Facilities should continue to offer testing for employees in accordance with recommendations from CDPH, and have the ability to ramp up testing at their worksite, in the event of outbreaks or if it is required again at a future date.

• Updates timing of required booster doses consistent with current CDC recommendations

In summary:

School Workers, teachers, staff and volunteers, will no longer be required to vaccinate or test for COVID-19. 

Healthcare workers are still required to be vaccinated and boosted for COVID-19, unless they have a religious or medical exemption.  But will no longer need to test.
